Senior Electrical Engineer
TROES Corp is a Canadian advanced energy storage technology company focusing on distributed energy storage products and systems. We develop, design, manufacture and deliver high-performance energy storage systems that integrate our proprietary Battery Modules, Battery Management Systems (BMS), Enclosures and Power Conversion System (PCS).
Main Duties
- Lead the team, working with factory to design, assemble and commission energy storage and control systems
- Conduct system hardware FMEA analysis, and reliability and failure analysis
- Collaborate with management team, marketing staff and customers to develop detailed specifications and estimates for prospected projects
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers and other internal teams in Canada and the international market
Requirements
- 5+ working experience within the Electrical or Electronics industry
- Master’s degree is preferred
- Solid knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Proficient in using AutoCAD, 3D modeling and open to learning new software
- Familiar with the working principle of electrical wiring and electrical components
- Good knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act
- Experience with renewable energy or energy storage systems are preferred
- Adaptable to a start-up work environment
- Able to travel both domestic, and international
