An operating system between BESS and PCS
While Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Power Conversion Systems (PCS) play important roles in monitoring and controlling the charging and discharging of the battery, as well as managing the power conversion process, an embedded software that filters the commands coming from the Energy Management System (EMS) and actively monitors the safety metrics of the system is also necessary. This can help to prevent situations where the battery conductor is frequently cut off and ensure the overall safety and reliability of the BESS.

For flammable chemistry, there are requirements for installing systems for the prevention and control of explosions in enclosures that contain flammable concentrations of flammable gases, vapors, mists, dusts, or hybrid mixtures.
