BC Hydro Solar + Battery Rebates for Business
$1,000/kW
Solar rebate, up to $10,000
$500/kWh
Battery rebate, up to $10,000
Eligible projects: Solar, Battery Storage, or Solar + Battery.
Maximum support: Solar and battery rebates are capped at 50% of installed cost.
Best fit: Commercial buildings, farms, small industrial facilities, and solar + storage projects.

Home Renovation Savings Program
Up to $10,000
For solar panels and battery storage
Eligible projects: Solar PV and battery storage incentives for eligible home energy upgrades.
Important note: Check the current incentive schedule before applying.

For reducing peak electricity demand
Eligible projects: Demand response participation. This is not a battery rebate.
Best fit: Homes that can reduce or shift electricity use during peak events.

Eligible projects: Energy efficiency projects. Battery storage may qualify only as part of integrated or custom projects.

Hydro-Québec Solar Self-Generation Program

Grant based on installed solar capacity
Eligible projects: Solar PV. Battery storage is not separately incentivized.
