Problem

The influx of energy needed to electric charge vehicles is strenuous on the grid during peak hours which results in high electricity bills.

Solution

TROES successfully integrated a solar PV, BESS, and EV charger to reduce demand stress on the grid and increase bill savings. The system costed US $100,000. Assuming a daily usage of 8 hours and 2066 hours of sunshine yearly, the BESS will be paid off in 4 years.​
